Art does not always belong on a pedestal.

Art accessibility defines it's context and alters how we perceive it, use it and learn from it. Through art, we learn about history, about society, and about ourselves. We look at a work of art, experience a work of art, and sometimes even become a part of artwork. We learn about our own perceptions, confront our emotions and sometimes meet ourselves for the first time.

In education, the arts give us the skills needed to solve problems, address and express concern, as well as the skills needed to communicate effectively.
